Extended Boom forklifts are all terrain 4-wheel drive forklifts with a long reach; these are generally used on construction sites where a high capacity and lift height is needed.

Tractor type lifts are similar to standard forklifts generally with large pneumatic front tires and smaller back tires and are very useful in off-road situations.

Pneumatic tire forklifts are very similar to cushion tire lifts except that they have larger air filled or solid tires. These forklifts are better in situations where they will be off concrete such as gravel or dirt.
